The sixty-third anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations is being marked by the commencement of the historic symposium under the theme « The Infanticide of the De Gaulle’s Last Attempts, » organized by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences – History Department. The symposium was attended by Professor Amar HAYAHEM, the university director, along with his deputies, the dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, the dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, and the head of the History Department, as well as professors and students. Several professors from the University of Bouira and other universities such as the University of M’sila, the University of Blida, the University of Algiers 2, and the University of Chlef actively participated in the symposium.
