On November 14th,, 2024 which is chosen by the relevant ministry to welcome international students, the University of Bouira organized an exploratory day for its enrolled students from various nationalities in coordination with the University Services Directorate, with a total of 36 students participating. This year’s #Marhaba #Day program was eventful, as the students began their exploratory journey with a visit to the museum located at the center, showcasing various types of taxidermied animals. They then moved to the center’s restaurant, where a luncheon was held in their honor. During this event, a representative from each country delivered a speech introducing their country and expressing their impressions of this initiative, followed by a speech from the university director.

This day is closed with a walking tour in the Tikjda Forest, accompanied by a guide. The students were amazed by the beauty and charm of the place, where they appreciated the special welcome they received from the university. They confirmed that they quickly integrated into the university environment and felt very comfortable, as if they were in their second home, having received the necessary support from all educational and service aspects. The university director has also scheduled a celebration for them as part of an annual tradition that the university intends to establish, where international students will showcase their cultures from their home countries through traditional clothing, food, and unique characteristics, either through live presentations or videos.
