As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and support small projects, members of the leadership committee for monitoring the work of entrepreneurship centers conducted a field visit to Bouira University. The delegation was headed by Professor Chahinaz TALEB, coordinator of the entrepreneurship development centers, along with Professor KESSASSE Fatiha, director of the entrepreneurship development center at the University of Guelma. The delegation was received by Professor HAIAHEM Ammar, the university director, Professor Ali LARGUAT, the deputy university director, Professor ZAAF Khaled, director of the entrepreneurship development center, and Mr. GLIFIT Salim, director of the provincial agency for supporting and developing entrepreneurship in Bouira. During this meeting, the following points took place:
First: The establishment of the joint local committee: Under the direct supervision of the university director and in the presence of Professor Shahinaz TALEB, coordinator of the entrepreneurship development centers, the joint committee between Bouira University and the provincial agency for supporting and developing entrepreneurship was signed to achieve the objectives of the established agreement and to monitor its progress. Three representatives from each party were appointed.
Second: During the visit, the challenges facing project holders were reviewed, along with the importance of providing a stimulating environment for creativity and innovation. The significance of cooperation among various stakeholders in the field of entrepreneurship was emphasized, including universities, national agencies, and investors, to provide the necessary support and guidance for project holders.
Thirdly: A tour of the center was conducted, during which Dr. Shahinaz TALEB delivered a motivational speech to the project holders participating in the ninth cohort. She also listened to their concerns, assuring them that she would convey these to the relevant authorities. Additionally, she encouraged them to take advantage of the available expertise and the opportunities provided by the center, emphasizing that success requires perseverance and learning from past experiences.
Fourthly: A meeting was held among the various stakeholders within the center, including NASDA trainers and professors, to open a discussion on finding the best ways to foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the university by creating a comprehensive economic environment that meets the needs of the Algerian market.
