Presentation
The Centre of intensive languages learning of the university of Akli Mohand Oulhadj of Bouira is a structure attached to the university’s rectorate. Since its creation in May 2021, this cognitive space designed to promote language learning has been offering courses based on a dynamic teaching method that favours exchange and constant contact between participants and the trainer, leading to direct learning and learning by doing. This method has psychological as well as cognitive advantages.
Learners move around the centre more or less independently, with centre staff on hand to guide them where necessary. The courses are taught by a team of experienced teachers who use an open approach to teaching, focusing on the involvement of each learner and encouraging communication.
Some courses are more specialised, offering training on specific objectives for public or private establishments wishing to improve the foreign language skills of their employees in the field(s) to which they belong (nurses; registrars; secretaries; administrative staff; doctors (medical English) ….
The centre is equipped with modern, effective and attractive teaching resources and tools that allow a wide range of multimedia content to be projected (audio tracks, videos, conversations, etc.).
