We would not expect a home visit request unless a patient is genuinely housebound and cannot leave the house for any other purpose. Please call the practice after 10am if you are unable to use any other option – our reception team will then assist you further. If you do not attend an appointment on time we cannot guarantee you will be seen and your appointment may have to be re-arranged.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form. If you have booked via a self booking link you can follow the same link and cancel.

The easiest & quickest way to order repeat prescriptions is via online services App. It is important that you inform the reception staff so that your slot can be offered to another patient. All requests will receive a telephone call from the doctor in the first instance, and are at the doctor’s discretion depending on clinical need.

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC. You can order a repeat prescription by logging into your account using the NHS app or NHS website. If you need an interpreter, please inform reception and this can be arranged.
In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge. To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up. This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery. Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
