Visit of the Governor of Bouira Province

As part of the celebrations marking the dual anniversary of the Nationalization of Hydrocarbons and the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), the Governor of Bouira Province presided over the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of 15 research laboratories at the University of Bouira. This initiative aims to strengthen scientific research and further enhance the University’s research infrastructure.
During her visit, the Governor also inspected the progress of several major development projects, including the construction of a 2,000-seat teaching facility, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and a multi-purpose sports hall.
The visit took place in the presence of the Rector of the University, Professor Ali Larqat, together with members of the university community, including academic and administrative staff, reflecting the continued commitment to the development of the University of Bouira and the enhancement of its academic excellence and institutional services.
