Directorate Council Meeting

On 18 February 2026, the Rector of the University, Professor Ali Larqat, chaired a meeting with the members of the University Executive Council in the meeting room of the University Campus.

The meeting commenced with an opening address by the Rector, who paid tribute to the National Martyrs’ Day, recalling the immense sacrifices made by Algeria’s valiant martyrs in the service of the nation. He emphasized the importance of upholding the values of loyalty, dedication, and integrity in the fulfillment of professional duties and responsibilities. The attendees then observed a minute of silence in memory of the nation’s martyrs.

The meeting was devoted to the examination and discussion of a number of important matters, including the implementation of the 2024 and 2025 budget, the status of recruitment, investment programs, and the management of social services. Discussions also covered the condition of the University’s facilities and infrastructure, the teaching of the English language, the progress of the digital transformation process, as well as other related issues of institutional importance.

On this occasion, the Rector stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and preparing accurate, up-to-date data and reports to support informed decision-making, improve institutional performance, and enhance the effectiveness of university governance and management.
