The Rector of the University, Professor Ali Larqat, met with the University’s academic leadership, including the deans of the faculties, the directors of the institutes and their vice-directors for academic affairs, as well as the heads of departments, in a working session dedicated to reviewing and analyzing various academic performance indicators and statistics. The meeting was held as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to monitor and enhance the quality of education and improve academic performance.

During the meeting, participants reviewed and discussed the pass and failure rates across the University’s various faculties and academic disciplines. They also analyzed the status of English-language instruction and assessed the progress made in implementing the University’s strategy in this area. In addition, the meeting examined student attendance and engagement in teaching and learning activities, as well as the quality of academic supervision and student support services.

On this occasion, the Rector emphasized the importance of relying on accurate digital data to support informed decision-making. He called for intensified efforts and closer coordination among the University’s various academic structures to improve academic outcomes and enhance the quality of education, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University’s strategic objectives.
